About the Role

Our client is searching for a detail-oriented Remote General Accountant to join their finance team. This fully remote position offers the convenience of working from home while contributing essential accounting functions to the company. You will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and supporting the month-end close process. Key Responsibilities Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are correctly recorded. Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile other balance sheet accounts. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting best practices. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in general accounting. Strong proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel . Good understanding of accounting principles. Excellent organizational skills and a high level of accuracy.
