Head of Shopping & Amazon Commerce – Feeds & Marketplaces

Job Description:

  • Develop and optimize complex feed setups for international e-commerce clients
  • Take responsibility for data quality, feed architecture, and platform readiness
  • Build and optimize Google Merchant Center setups, custom labels, mapping, and segmentation
  • Analyze and resolve feed errors, disapprovals, and complex data logic issues
  • Work with Channable, Productsup, DataFeedWatch, or comparable platforms
  • Build scalable product data structures for Amazon, other marketplaces, and, potentially, retail media
  • Collaborate closely with Paid Media, Analytics, Tracking, and Development teams
  • Further develop the department and, in the future, build and lead a team
  • Develop modern commerce structures for leading international clients
  • Challenge existing setups and expand Amazon and other marketplace activities
  • Assume subject-matter responsibility for the department

Requirements:

  • At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in feed management, Google Shopping, Merchant Center, or comparable commerce setups
  • In-depth understanding of product data, feed logic, data quality, and scalable data structures
  • Strong hands-on experience with mapping, custom labels, XML/CSV, error diagnosis, and feed tools
  • Technical understanding of e-commerce platforms, interfaces, tracking, and data flows
  • Structured, self-directed approach to work and a commitment to continuously improving existing setups
  • Fluent German and English skills
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon and an understanding of marketplace-specific requirements are highly valued
  • Experience with other marketplaces, retail media, or commerce platforms is highly valued
  • Exposure to Performance Max, CSS, or marketplace-related advertising environments is highly valued
  • Interest in automation, AI-powered workflows, and emerging technologies in commerce
  • An up-to-date résumé and a short video of approximately 2–3 minutes are required
  • The video must briefly be recorded in both German and English
