You'll manage the P&L for this channel, including pricing strategy, promotional calendar, vendor negotiations, and account health, while working closely with Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing to keep the channel healthy and growing. You'll be the person who understands both the commercial side (vendor terms, co-op, trade, margin) and the operational side (Retail Analytics, suppression, Buy Box, and in-stock rate).</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Own the Amazon business across the US and Canadian marketplaces, serving as the primary point of contact for Amazon category teams, vendor managers, and internal stakeholders.</li><li>Lead annual business planning and account negotiations, including pricing, promotional funding, trade investments, and other commercial terms, in partnership with Finance.</li><li>Build and maintain the SKU-level pricing strategy on Amazon, including price-parity monitoring, planned price increases, and line-pricing consistency across the catalog.</li><li>Monitor account health and pricing metrics; proactively identify and resolve Buy Box suppression, listing suppression, content issues, and pricing flags that may impact performance.</li><li>Manage trade funds to support marketing and promotional initiatives, determining pricing and distribution strategies while collaborating with key accounts in both direct and indirect sales environments.</li><li>Analyze Amazon performance data and retail analytics to identify growth opportunities, optimize product performance, and address underperforming listings.</li><li>Align Amazon forecasts, inventory plans, and promotional calendars with the broader annual operating plan, working closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing.</li><li>Coordinate MAP enforcement and monitor third-party or unauthorized seller activity on managed ASINs.</li><li>Partner with Marketing on content and listing optimization, including A+ Content, imagery, keywords, and digital merchandising strategies to improve conversion and organic search rankings.</li><li>Report weekly and monthly KPIs, including revenue, units sold, profitability, account health, in-stock rates, and promotional performance to sales and executive leadership.</li><li>Represent the Amazon channel in cross-functional pricing and business reviews, identifying risks and opportunities related to pricing, promotions, profitability, and customer experience.</li><li>Develop and execute strategies to drive sustainable sales growth, improve profitability, and strengthen brand presence across Amazon marketplaces.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Min. of 3 years relevant experience within CPG (understanding of CPG industry and competitive landscape)</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred</li><li>A team-player with a winning attitude. One who share best practices and is open to learn from other team members</li><li> Experience in key account management, e-commerce, or sales, including at least 2 years managing an Amazon Vendor Central (1P) relationship directly (brand-side or agency-side).</li><li>Working knowledge of Amazon Vendor Central tools: Retail Analytics, Sales Diagnostic, Vendor Negotiations (AVN); familiarity with Sponsored Products/DSP is a plus.</li><li>Strong Excel and analytical skills — comfortable building and maintaining pricing and margin models across large SKU-level datasets (pivot tables, INDEX/MATCH, etc.).</li><li>Solid understanding of vendor economics: COGS, co-op, trade spend, chargebacks, freight allowances, and gross margin analysis.</li><li>Comfortable owning a P&L and operating with real ambiguity — this is a build-and-own role, not a maintain-the-status-quo role.</li><li>Goal-oriented: Take initiative to build rapport, establish account-specific plans, and achieve/exceed sales goals.</li><li> A strong communicator: Both verbally to build retailer relationships, and in writing to accomplish follow-up.
