[Remote] Director of reputed company, Navy & Marine Corps

The Director of reputed company will own the Navy and Marine Corps market, develop trusted Department of the Navy relationships, identify and pursue opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and create a growth plan and team around the market.


Responsibilities

  • Own reputed company strategy and opportunity selection for the Navy and Marine Corps segment
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships across the Department of the Navy acquisition, program, and fleet community
  • Personally move opportunities from early identification through pursuit toward orders
  • Build strategic partnerships with primes, integrators, and platform manufacturers
  • Translate customer priorities and emerging requirements into an executable growth plan

Skills

  • • 5+ years of Department of War sales or reputed company and the acquisition lifecycle, from emerging need to acquisition
  • • Meaningful reputed company and/or Marine Corps customer, program, or reputed company experience
  • • Track record developing trusted military, government, and industry relationships
  • • Hands-on, entrepreneurial execution in a lean organization
  • • U.S. citizen
  • • Existing Navy or Marine Corps relationships
  • • UAS, unmanned surface vessel, or autonomy experience
  • • OEM experience selling into the defense market
  • • Maritime platform or acquisition knowledge (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, PEO, or Marine Corps Systems Command)
  • • Experience in a lean or startup defense organization
