Job Summary

We are seeking highly organized, process-oriented professionals to manage the store's human resources administration. As an HR Coordinator, you will manage applicant flow, process leave of absence requests, and maintain pristine compliance records. You will serve as the crucial link between store associates and corporate HR, delivering the signature reliability that sets Giant Food apart in the grocery industry. This role requires excellent desk-organization skills and a friendly, open-door demeanor.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

  • Recruiting Administration: Review incoming applications in the ATS (Applicant Tracking System), conduct initial phone screens, and schedule in-person interviews for management.
  • Compliance & Filing: Maintain secure, confidential personnel files, ensuring all I-9s, tax forms, and performance reviews are filed according to legal standards.
  • Leave Management: Assist associates with the paperwork required for FMLA, short-term disability, or personal leaves of absence.
  • Communications: Manage the store's communication boards, posting legally required labor posters, weekly schedules, and corporate newsletters.
