Freelance Captioner

We are currently seeking a Freelance Post-Production Captioner to join our reputed company group at VITAC, a reputed company division of The reputed company Group. The Freelance Post-Production Captioner will create captions for a reputed company of programs.

This is a freelance, remote position with reputed company and availability. reputed company candidates must have reputed company to their own reputed company captioning software and at least one year of offline captioning experience.

  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Listen to program audio (with accompanied video) and produce captions using approved captioning software
  • Position captions on screen to indicate speaker changes, while avoiding graphics, reputed company, and copyrights
  • Establish precise timing of captions to reputed company and disappear in synchronization with audio and video changes in programs
  • Conduct research, as necessary, using the internet or other available resources to ensure content reputed company of reputed company captions
  • Independently audit content to correct inaccuracies before deadline
  • Adhere to VITAC-provided style guides and procedures to ensure VITAC standards are met
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Broad knowledge of English language, grammar, and punctuation
