Account Manager II (Healthcare IT)

Position Summary
The Account Manager II manages and grows a portfolio of healthcare client relationships, serving as a trusted partner who connects client priorities with DAS Health’s services and solutions. This role strengthens client relationships, supports retention, and drives expansion through consultative account planning, renewals, cross-selling, upselling, and consistent follow-through. By combining client insight, account data, and knowledge of healthcare technology, this position helps clients realize greater value while supporting recurring revenue retention, pipeline growth, and long-term partnership health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of healthcare clients, building trusted relationships with practice leaders, operational stakeholders, and other decision-makers.
  • Develop strategic account plans that align client priorities with DAS Health’s services, strengthen satisfaction, and support long-term retention.
  • Understand each client’s business, technology environment, goals, and evolving needs to identify opportunities for added value.
  • Identify and advance cross-sell and upsell opportunities across recurring services, hardware, professional services, managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and other healthcare solutions.
  • Support renewals, negotiations, and expansion opportunities while balancing client needs with retention, revenue, and partnership goals.
  • Maintain accurate account, pipeline, forecast, and opportunity information, using CRM data and performance insights to prioritize growth opportunities and report progress.
  • Monitor account health, map key stakeholders, and proactively address relationship risks or changes in client priorities.
  • Partner with Customer Success and service-delivery teams to improve adoption, coordinate support, resolve client needs, and expand account value.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Revenue Operations, and Finance to align solutions, pricing, campaigns, client outcomes, and pipeline visibility.
  • Represent the client’s perspective internally, communicate clearly through issues and escalations, and help drive timely, accountable follow-through.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, customer success, revenue operations, growth, or a related client-facing function.
  • Demonstrated success growing existing client relationships through cross-selling, upselling, renewals, and strategic account development.
  • Experience building or applying scalable account plans, expansion playbooks, or client engagement programs in a B2B or managed services environment.
  • Strong relationship management, stakeholder communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use CRM and business data to identify opportunities, manage pipeline, and translate insights into action.
  • Ability to remain organized, professional, and responsive while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Ability to use, protect, and disclose patient protected health information in accordance with HIPAA standards.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare IT, a Managed Services Provider, or another B2B technology or services environment.
  • Experience supporting healthcare clients, including medical practices, physician groups, outpatient settings, or complex multi-site provider organizations.
  • Experience using CRM and analytics tools, including Salesforce or a comparable platform.
  • Experience tracking account health, monthly recurring revenue retention, expansion revenue, product penetration, and pipeline performance.
  • Experience partnering with Customer Success or service-delivery teams to improve adoption, resolve client needs, and expand account value.
