Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS, and relay orders efficiently to the kitchen staff
  • Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while balancing registers at shift end
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
  • Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Skills

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of the food industry
  • Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering functions
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
  • Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations to ensure compliance at all times
  • Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and order calculations
