The uranium produced at McArthur River is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future.<br><br><strong>Position And Responsibilities<br><br></strong>Reporting to the warehouse supervisor, you will be responsible for performing routine daily warehouse functions such as:<br><br><ul><li>Issue materials from mill and outside storage warehouse.</li><li>Off-load incoming general freight and prepare/load material for off-site shipping.</li><li>Maintain stock records and file on manual and computerized systems.</li><li>Other duties as required.<br><br></li></ul><strong>This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 90 days.<br><br></strong><strong>Education And Qualifications<br><br></strong>Requirements of the position:<br><br><ul><li>grade 12 diploma or equivalent;</li><li>valid class 5 driver’s license;</li><li>experience with computers and computer software (Microsoft Office);</li><li>night shift and underground work as required; and</li><li>work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Assets<br><br></strong><ul><li>direct warehouse experience;</li><li>forklift and loader operator certification;</li><li>SAP experience; and</li><li>previous training in first aid; WHMIS, and transportation of dangerous goods.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Conditions Of Employment<br><br></strong><ul><li>pre-employment substance test.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Safety Sensitive Site<br><br></strong>Req ID #: 42391<br><br>Rate per hour: $45.91<br><br>Posted: August 6, 2026<br><br>Posting end date: August 27, 2026<br><br>Vacancies identified within a unionized work location will be governed by the respective collective bargaining agreement.
