Warehouse Worker / Forklift Operator (Mandarin Speaking)

Job Summary:

The Elite Job is seeking a dedicated and proactive Warehouse Worker/Forklift Operator who is fluent in Mandarin to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our logistics and supply chain operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. You will operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to handle inventory, maintain accurate records, and support the overall functionality of our distribution center. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and effective communication skills in both English and Mandarin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, load, and unload goods and materials.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures.
  • Maintain organized and clean work areas to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, shipments, and order statuses.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate tasks and resolve issues.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while handling materials and operating equipment.
  • Assist in the training of new warehouse staff as needed.
  • Contribute to inventory management and stock replenishment activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
  • Proven experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy items.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with a focus on forklift operation.
  • Prior experience in an environment where Mandarin is spoken is highly desirable.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time position.
  • Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required based on operational needs.
