Warehouse Worker - Evening Shift

Job Summary:At The Elite Job, we are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team for the evening shift. Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and Inspection: Accurately receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and checking for damage.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and adjustments.
  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of materials and equipment.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in accordance with company safety protocols.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, reporting any hazards or unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to meet operational goals and support overall warehouse efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in order picking and inventory management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and basic computer applications.
  • Communication: Strong verbal communication skills for effective interaction with team members and supervisors.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings and adjust to changing workloads as needed.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred but not required.

Working Hours:

  • This is an evening shift position, with working hours typically from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Flexibility for additional hours or weekends may be required during peak times.
