Warehouse Worker (Early Morning Shift)

Job Summary:

The Elite Job is seeking a diligent and motivated Warehouse Worker for our Brampton facility to join our team during the early morning shift. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include handling goods, maintaining inventory, and ensuring that shipments are processed accurately and promptly. Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and Process Shipments: Accurately unload, inspect, and sort incoming shipments. Ensure that all items are checked against shipping documents and are in good condition.
  • Inventory Management: Perform regular inventory counts, update records, and report discrepancies. Maintain proper storage of goods to ensure easy access and to prevent damage.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards. Verify that orders are accurate and complete.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move goods within the warehouse.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean and organized. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and inventory levels. Ensure all paperwork is completed and filed correctly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Basic education required.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately handle and record inventory and shipments.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in varying temperatures.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic data entry.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively in a team environment.
  • Safety Awareness: Knowledge of and adherence to safety regulations and protocols.

Experience:

  • Previous Warehouse Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Equipment Operation Experience: Experience with forklifts or other warehouse equipment is an advantage.

Working Hours:

  • Shift Timing: Early Morning Shift, typically starting between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
  • Schedule: Full-time position with the possibility of overtime based on operational needs.
