Responsibilities will also include maintenance of inventory, receipt, shipment of goods, and other duties as assigned.<br><br><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Accurately prepare orders by pulling material from stock.</li><li>Participates in the shipping of company goods to various customers.</li><li>Verifies accuracy of shipments.</li><li>Processes paperwork and signatures of shipments.</li><li>Operates forklift in a safe and efficient manner.</li><li>Pulls orders via pick ticket and handles pick ticket process.</li><li>Loads and unloads delivery trucks for the purpose of receiving stock and preparing for transport.</li><li>Participates in physical inventory for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying gains/losses.</li><li>Cleans warehouse for the purpose of safe and sanitary workplace.</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.</li><li>Utilizes computer based inventory, tracking, shipping, and ordering systems.</li><li>Serve as a backup driver for the delivery truck.</li><li>Other duties as assigned<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>QUALIFICATIONS: <br><br></strong><ul><li>At least two years of inventory handling and experience.</li><li>Ability to perform and understand basic math and written procedures.</li><li>Excellent verbal communication skills.</li><li>Basic computer literacy.</li><li>Ability to speak both English & Spanish preferred</li><li>Ability to meet deadlines and schedules with little supervision.</li><li>Forklift experience is a plus.</li><li>Valid driver's license.</li><li>Ability to lift 50 plus pounds on regular basis</li><li>Warehouse experience is a plus.</li><li>Flooring or tile industry experience is a plus.</li><li>High School Diploma/GED<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Florida Tile provides an array of benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
