On our team, you’ll have the support to excel at work and the resources to build a career you can be proud of.<br><br>1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm<br><br>The Warehouse Supervisor, Supply Chain Operations supervises and coordinates activities of workers by determining work procedures, preparing work schedules, and expediting workflow by properly utilizing employees and their hours. As a member of our team, you’ll have the committed support to excel at your job and the resources to build an exciting career.<br><br><strong>Pay, Benefits And More.<br><br></strong>We are eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including extended health benefits (medical, dental and vision), pension, life insurance, disability and more.<br><br><strong>What you’ll do on a typical day: <br><br><br></strong><ul><li> Ensure efficient daily operations of the warehouse</li><li> Assigns duties, monitors work completion for accuracy and prepare schedules</li><li> Supervise the team and provide training and coaching to improve performance</li><li> Monitor work quality to consistently deliver exceptional customer service</li><li> Demonstrate an understanding of the company quality policy</li><li> Adhere to the GXO 7S program</li><li> Maintain a clean environment</li><li> Communicate well with leadership, team members and other departments</li><li> Implement continuous improvement action plans<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>What you need to succeed at GXO: <br><br></strong>At a minimum, you’ll need:<br><br><br><ul><li> 2 years of relevant work experience</li><li> Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment</li><li> Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends<br><br><br></li></ul>It’d be great if you also have:<br><br><br><ul><li> Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field</li><li> 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience</li><li> Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment</li><li> Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience</li><li> Experience with inventory cycle counts</li><li> Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills with ability to identify and resolve problems<br><br><br></li></ul>This job requires the ability to:<br><br><br><ul><li> Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights</li><li> Handle or manage tools or equipment</li><li> Stand, sit or walk and balance for extended periods of time</li><li> Use hands or fingers, handle, or feel objects</li><li> Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel</li><li> Talking and listening</li><li> Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.</li><li> Job duties performed in both an office environment and a light industrial environment, thereby experiencing some minor to moderate level of noise due to office equipment and industrial equipment.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains. <br><br></strong>GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
