Warehouse / Operations Associate

Job Summary

This is a hands-on role for a reliable, organized person who wants to learn how a modern supply-chain operation works. The associate will support inventory receiving, shipment preparation, labeling, system updates, and day-to-day operational workflows. The role offers exposure to procurement, logistics, fulfillment systems, inventory management, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, count, sort, label, and organize inventory accurately.
  • Prepare inventory for shipment to fulfillment centers and customers.
  • Create and review shipment documents, including BOLs, shipment summaries, packing information, and labels.
  • Print and apply product, carton, and shipment labels.
  • Update inventory, shipment, and load information in internal systems and external web portals.
  • Monitor shipment status and keep operational records accurate and current.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing inventory for accuracy, damage, and completeness.
  • Support purchase-order, procurement, supplier, and inbound-shipment workflows.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse workspace.
  • Follow Lanstar's approved time-control clock system and operational procedures.
  • Help improve processes, reduce errors, and increase warehouse efficiency.

Candidate Profile

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently after training.
  • Strong attention to detail when counting, labeling, and entering information.
  • Comfortable using computers, web portals, spreadsheets, and internal software systems.
  • Good numeracy, organization, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Interested in learning about logistics, procurement, supply chain systems, and warehouse operations.

Preferred Experience

  • Warehouse, logistics, fulfillment, operations, 3PL, or distribution experience.
  • Experience preparing shipments for fulfillment centers or customers.
  • Experience with inventory planning, purchasing, supplier coordination, or shipment documentation.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • A practical mindset for identifying problems and suggesting improvements.

Pay: $18.51-$22.00 per hour
