YYZ Prep is an Amazon FBA prep and fulfillment center based in Brampton, Ontario. We help Amazon and e-commerce sellers receive, inspect, prep, label, pack, and ship inventory to Amazon fulfillment centers across Canada and the U.S.We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our prep center team. This role is hands-on and fast-paced. You will be working with real inventory, barcodes, labels, cartons, pallets, and warehouse software to make sure client products are accurately prepared and shipped.
What You’ll Do
As a Warehouse Associate, you will help with day-to-day warehouse operations, including:- Receiving boxes, cartons, and pallets from suppliers and carriers.
- Opening shipments and checking items for damage, missing units, or incorrect products.
- Scanning UPCs, barcodes, SKUs, and product labels.
- Counting inventory accurately and matching received products to client orders.
- Taking or assisting with product and shipment photos when required.
- Applying FNSKU labels, suffocation warning labels, and other required prep labels.
- Polybagging, bubble wrapping, bundling, kitting, and preparing multi-packs.
- Packing products into outbound cartons for Amazon FBA shipments.
- Helping build, sort, and organize shipments by client, SKU, and destination.
- Using scanners, computers, and internal warehouse tools to update order status.
- Following prep instructions carefully to meet Amazon compliance requirements.
- Keeping the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Reporting product issues, quantity discrepancies, damaged goods, or unclear instructions to a supervisor.
You should be
- Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions exactly.
- Comfortable scanning barcodes and using basic computer/tablet systems.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift boxes during your shift.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs when needed.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Able to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks such as labeling, counting, packing, and sorting.
- Able to read product labels, SKUs, UPCs, and shipping instructions in English.
- Willing to learn Amazon FBA prep standards and warehouse procedures.
- Amazon FBA prep center experience.
- Warehouse, shipping, receiving, or fulfillment experience.
- E-commerce, 3PL, or retail inventory experience.
- Barcode scanning or inventory system experience.
- Packing, labeling, kitting, or quality control experience.
- Pallet jack or forklift experience.
- Work in a growing e-commerce and logistics business.
- Learn Amazon FBA, fulfillment, shipping, and warehouse operations.
- Small-team environment where accuracy and effort are noticed.
- Hands-on role with room to grow into lead, quality control, receiving, or shipping positions.
