Warehouse Manager / Supervisor

Role Description The Warehouse Manager / Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and ensuring that receiving, storage, inventory handling, order preparation, and dispatch activities are completed efficiently, accurately, and safely. The role focuses on operational coordination, inventory accuracy, workforce management, space utilization, process improvement, and maintaining consistent warehouse standards.

Key responsibilities include planning and coordinating daily warehouse activities, assigning tasks to warehouse personnel, monitoring workflow, and ensuring that goods are received, inspected, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched according to established procedures. The manager or supervisor should ensure that operational priorities are clearly communicated and completed within required timelines.

The role involves monitoring inventory movements, stock levels, storage locations, and warehouse records. Responsibilities may include conducting cycle counts, supporting stocktaking activities, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring that inventory information remains accurate and properly documented.

  • Understanding of warehouse layout, storage optimization, material handling, space utilization, and workflow management.
  • Ability to supervise, coordinate, and motivate warehouse personnel while maintaining clear operational standards.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple warehouse priorities and deadlines.
  • Good understanding of shipping, receiving, delivery coordination, logistics documentation, and order fulfillment processes.
