Title: Warehouse Associate - Heavy Lifting

Location: Brampton, ON

Wage: $22.00 /hr

Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm

Shifts available: Monday to Friday

We're currently building our Warehouse Associate candidate pool and are seeking dependable individuals for future opportunities with our client, a fast-growing, high-quality specialty coatings manufacturer located in North Brampton.

MUST HAVE OWN TRASNPORTATION AS THIS LOCATION IS NOT BUS ACCESSIBLE

Responsibilities:

  • Load/Unload incoming and outgoing orders
  • Comfortable being around paint environment
  • Pack goods to be shipped
  • Pouring paint into packages
  • Match product with shipping or PO documentation during shipment
  • Identify discrepancies and bring them to the attention of QC.
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
  • Maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking
  • Attach identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments
  • Schedule, track and verify shipments as required
  • Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies as required
  • Maintain a safe, organized working environment
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

  • Willingness to work in physically demanding position
  • Must be comfortable using computer
  • Knowledge of filling out waybills and bills of landing and international shipments
  • Strong analytic and math skill required
  • Ability to lift up to 50Ibs
  • Ability to read and write English
  • High school diploma or higher (equivalent work experience is acceptable)
