Job Description As a Virtual Social Media Comment Moderator at Meta, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and safety of our platforms. You will be responsible for reviewing and moderating user-generated comments across various Meta products, ensuring compliance with our community standards and policies. This fully remote position requires keen attention to detail, excellent judgment, and a commitment to fostering positive online interactions. You will identify and action inappropriate content, escalate complex issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our moderation guidelines. Key Responsibilities • Monitor and moderate user-generated comments across Meta platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and others. • Enforce Meta's community standards and content policies rigorously and consistently. • Accurately identify and remove content that violates guidelines, such as hate speech, harassment, misinformation, and spam. • Escalate complex or ambiguous content issues to specialized teams for further review. • Provide clear, concise, and consistent rationales for moderation decisions. • Stay informed about current events and trends that may impact content moderation policies. • Contribute to improving moderation processes and policies by providing feedback and insights.
