Video Editor - Performance Marketing

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: South America, North America, Latin America, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Mexico

This a remote-first in a global eCommerce company behind several direct-to-consumer brands. Our client internal marketing team operates a fast-paced, AI-assisted video engine shipping roughly 6+ new ad scripts daily, each with 3 variations (about 18–20 finished videos per day) per editor.

We are looking for a Video Editor who approaches work like a performance marketer first and an editor second: someone who can take a solid draft from our internal AI tools and polish it into a high-converting video ad.

What You'll Do

  • Build short form sales-focused video ads for Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok for

  • our physical products, most under 45 seconds.

  • Refine AI generated scripts into finished ads. The script comes to you. You judge it, tighten it

  • and cut it into something that converts.

  • Use our internal AI editing tool to give you more leverage on clip selection and quicker edits.

  • Create around 6+ video concepts (unique scripts) a day with 3 variations each (around 20

  • total), with the support of our AI tools.

  • Give us feedback on that workflow. It is being built right now, and we want the person using it

  • every day telling us what is slowing them down and what to build next.

  • Write video ads scripts occasionally for new projects that are not yet included in the AI

  • workflow.

  • Read performance data weekly. Know which of your ads scaled and which died, and bring

  • those learnings into the next batch.

KPIs

  • Videos shipped per week

  • Spend behind your creative

  • Validated ads, meaning ads that pass our testing threshold and move to scale

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience editing direct-response video ads for physical products and DTC brands

  • rather than brand awareness campaigns.

  • A track record you can speak to concretely: what videos you've made, and ideally what they

  • sold or spent, not just how many views they got.

  • Comfortable working with AI-assisted tools and fast-paced workflows, maintaining prompt

  • communication and quick delivery turnaround.

  • Strong communication and ownership: shows up in meetings, shares ideas, responds to

  • threads promptly, flags problems before they become issues.

  • A strong instinct for high-converting creative patterns, prioritizing proven ad structures over

  • reinvention.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere; comfort with motion graphics and media asset management

  • tools (e.g. iconik or similar).

Nice to Have

  • Creative strategy experience, including scripting ad concepts, identifying target persona pain

  • points, and addressing buyer objections.

  • Experience across multiple DTC brands or niches.

  • Familiarity with AI video/audio tools such as ElevenLabs and AI video generation platforms.

  • General AI workflow proficiency.

What Success Looks Like

  • You consistently hit our daily output cadence without sacrificing quality.

  • Your videos routinely pass testing thresholds to become validated ads on Meta, successfully

  • scaling with high ROAS.

  • You're a proactive, visible teammate: responsive, communicative, and easy to loop in on short

  • notice.

Why Join Us

  • Fully remote role with flexible working arrangements alongside an international team.

  • Competitive compensation paid directly in USD.

  • Opportunities for professional growth as we expand into new products and initiatives.

  • Fast-growing hardware business where your creative output directly impacts brand

  • performance.
