Job Title: Video Editor

Position Overview:We are looking for a creative and reliable Video Editor to join our content team. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, has strong editing skills, and can create engaging videos for YouTube and social media while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Edit long-form YouTube videos and short-form content (Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels).
  • Add transitions, sound effects, music, subtitles, and motion graphics.
  • Enhance video and audio quality through color correction and audio balancing.
  • Create engaging pacing to keep viewers watching.
  • Work closely with the content creator to bring ideas to life.
  • Organize and manage project files.
  • Deliver edits on schedule and make revisions based on feedback.
  • Stay up to date with current editing trends and YouTube best practices.

Requirements

  • Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut.
  • Basic knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • A portfolio or examples of previous editing work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience editing gaming, podcast, or entertainment content.
  • Knowledge of YouTube audience retention and SEO-friendly editing.
  • Familiarity with Photoshop or After Effects is an advantage.
