Job Description
Our client is looking for dedicated individuals for positions in the agricultural sector, specifically in fruit and vegetable combination farming. These roles require a willingness to work in various conditions, including hot, cold, and dirty environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and harvest crops
- Sort and pack fruits and vegetables
- Grade produce according to size, shape, and color
- Weed and maintain the growing area
- Load, unload, and transfer crates and supplies
- Detect health issues in crops and livestock
Job Requirements
- No formal education required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Able to work independently and under pressure
- Physical capability to handle heavy loads (up to 30 lbs)
- Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Working Conditions
This role will be physically demanding, requiring manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to stand for extended periods. Work is often fast-paced and involves repetitive tasks, making it important for candidates to be able to handle a large workload efficiently.
