We are looking for people to start ASAP!! Are you looking for flexible, meaningful work in your community? Statistics Canada is hiring interviewers (enumerators) for the 2026 Census!

Census information can be used to plan programs and services that support employment, education, public transportation, and healthcare. The contract period for census jobs is from May – July 2026, depending on the position and location. Be adaptable, reliable, and work well independently with minimal supervision.

Have organizational skills, basic computer knowledge, and attention to detail.

Be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident (or otherwise eligible to work in Canada) with a Canadian home address.

Be available to work flexible hours (days, evenings, and weekends) for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Conduct door-to-door visits to collect census information from households that have not completed the census online

Provide clear explanations about the census process, its importance, and how personal information is protected

Attend all required training sessions and team meetings

Complete administrative documentation as required

Applicants must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident or possess a valid work permit, residing in Canada with a Canadian home address.
