We are in search of a self-disciplined individual with outstanding interpersonal skills. The selected applicant will be required to join and take their responsibilities at the earliest. The open positions are for Permanent employment or full-time jobs. The LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment) has approved the Truck-trailer driver position.

The candidate must have mountain driving experience. The candidate must drive as part of a two-person team or convoy. The candidate must load and unload goods. The candidate must operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. The candidate must inspect the vehicle’s condition, including the brakes, tires, lights, and other essential components. The candidate must pay for and receive payments for goods. The candidate must be able to perform emergency roadside repairs. The candidate will be responsible for performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, as well as overseeing all vehicle aspects. The candidate must perform preventive maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for receiving and relaying information to central dispatch. The candidate will be responsible for recording cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. The candidate will be responsible for tarping and ensuring cargo safety and security. The candidate must handle and transport dangerous goods. Job Requirements The candidate should be fluent in the English language. The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation. A candidate with experience is an asset. The candidate must have a Driver’s License (Class 1 or A). The candidate should be reliable. Documentation knowledge The candidate must be knowledgeable about driver logbooks and inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip). Type of trucking and equipment The candidate must have experience in operating a tractor-trailer. Security and safety The candidate must undergo a driving record check (abstract) for security and safety. Transportation/travel information The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
