Our Canada based learning and development client is looking for a Training Content Writer to join for ongoing project to project work.<br><br>Job Role: <strong>Training Content Writer<br><br></strong><ul><li>Our client is looking to build a bench of Training Content Writers, available for project to project based freelance work and who are comfortable working in Articulate Rise – </li><li>Candidates for this role must be Canada based, (T4) </li><li>Fully remote, team works EST hours </li><li>Estimated start date: late August 2026 </li><li>Duration: open ended project to project work, approx 4 months to start </li><li>Hours per week will vary depending on project work load </li><li>Candidates for this role must be available to work from 9AM-5PM EST. (Completing assignments after hours or over the weekend is not an option) </li><li>Candidates for this role must provide their own laptop and their own Articulate Rise license. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Job Description<br><br></strong><strong>Content Creation: </strong>Write clear, engaging, and informative training materials including manuals, eLearning modules, videos, and other instructional content.<br><br><strong>Brand Voice:</strong> Adapt writing style to match and reflect the specific tone, style, and voice of different client brands.<br><br><strong>Creative Thinking:</strong> Develop creative approaches to present complex information in a compelling and easily digestible manner.<br><br><strong>Research &; Understanding: </strong>Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand training objectives and ensure content accuracy and relevance.<br><br><strong>Audience Focused: </strong>Tailor content for different learner levels, ensuring accessibility and clarity for all audiences.<br><br><strong>Consistency: </strong>Ensure all content adheres to established guidelines, maintaining consistency across materials and projects.<br><br><strong>Collaboration:</strong> Work closely with design, marketing, and project management teams to align content with overall brand strategies and visual elements.<br><br><strong>Content Updates:</strong> Revise and update existing training materials as necessary, ensuring content stays current with evolving best practices or product changes.<br><br><strong>Feedback Integration:</strong> Incorporate client and learner feedback to improve content quality and effectiveness.<br><br><strong>SEO & Engagement: </strong>Optimize content for digital formats, ensuring it is searchable, interactive, and engaging for the intended audience.<br><br><strong>Instructional Design / e-Learning Development </strong>(nice to have): For those candidates who have used Articulate RISE previously, take content and build responsive, web-based online training<br><br>courses. Produce clean, device-friendly modules.<br><br><strong>Skills & Qualifications<br><br></strong>Proven experience in writing training or instructional content.<br><br>Proven experience working in Articulate Rise.<br><br>Strong creative writing and storytelling abilities.<br><br>Ability to adapt to various brand voices and styles.<br><br>Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design.<br><br>Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.<br><br>Using Articulate Storyline is an added bonus.<br><br>Excellent communication and collaboration skills.<br><br>
