Track Construction- Testing and Commissioning

<p><strong><u>About the Project</u></strong></p><p><strong>The Connect 6ix</strong> project is a consortium-led contract responsible for delivering the Rolling Stock, Systems, Operations and Maintenance (RSSOM) package for the Ontario Line — a new 15.6 km rapid transit subway running across Toronto. This includes the trains, signaling, communications systems, and the operations and maintenance facility. Connect 6ix will also operate and maintain the line for 30 years. <strong> NGE adventure</strong></p><ul><li>Enforces safety and evacuation procedures, leading by example (responsible driving, wearing PPE on-site, etc.).</li><li>Promotes a preventive approach and ensures the health and safety of team members (RPS, working conditions, etc.).</li><li>Contributes to the implementation of the Action Plan, performance review, and roadmap within their scope.</li><li>Support the development and implementation of Testing & Commissioning (T&C) plans, procedures, schedules, and strategies.</li><li>Coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), pre-commissioning, commissioning, and integrated systems testing activities.</li><li>Monitor testing and commissioning progress to ensure compliance with project schedules, specifications, and contractual requirements.</li><li>Review and coordinate test procedures, ensuring they are approved and executed in accordance with project standards.</li><li>Track testing results, deficiencies, non-conformances, and punch list items through to resolution.</li><li>Support troubleshooting and resolution of testing issues in collaboration with engineering, construction, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives.</li><li>Coordinate testing and commissioning activities across civil, systems, MEP, and other project disciplines.</li><li>Facilitate testing readiness reviews, coordination meetings, and commissioning workshops.</li><li>Coordinate witnessing activities with clients, Independent Certifiers (IC), authorities, and other stakeholders.</li><li>Maintain testing and commissioning registers, logs, schedules, dashboards, and progress reports.</li><li>Manage testing documentation and commissioning records within project document management systems (e.g., Aconex, EDMS).</li><li>Support audits, inspections, quality reviews, and commissioning acceptance activities.</li><li>Assist in preparing Commissioning & Acceptance (C&A) packages, turnover documentation, and as-built records.</li><li>Identify testing and commissioning risks, monitor readiness, and support mitigation strategies.</li><li>Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations throughout the testing and commissioning lifecycle.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>The successful candidate will report directly to the V and V- T and C Manager.
