Supply Childcare Staff

We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Supply Childcare Staff member to join our Montessori daycare team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to support a warm, respectful, and nurturing learning environment.

Key Duties:

  • Provide coverage and support in various classrooms as needed.
  • Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities.
  • Support the Montessori classroom environment and daily routines.
  • Assist with meals, snacks, toileting, diapering, dressing, and other daily care needs.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children.
  • Encourage positive social interactions, independence, and respectful behaviour.
  • Follow the daycare’s health, safety, and supervision policies.
  • Communicate professionally with educators, children, and families.
  • Assist with classroom preparation, cleaning, and organization.
  • Step into different classrooms and adapt to the needs of the program.
Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children in a daycare, childcare, Montessori, or similar setting is an asset.
  • ECE/ECA certification or relevant childcare experience is preferred.
  • Current First Aid/CPR is and asset.
  • Reliable, flexible, patient, and team-oriented.
  • Ability to create positive relationships with children and staff.
