Job Summary

Café Olimpico is seeking a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused Store Support Associate to assist with daily café operations. This role supports both front-of-house and back-of-house activities, including customer service, stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, preparing orders, and ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality setting and is committed to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
  • Assist with customer orders and operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system when required.
  • Support food and beverage preparation following company standards.
  • Restock products, ingredients, beverages, and café supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, dining area, and workstations.
  • Assist with receiving and organizing inventory deliveries.
  • Monitor product displays and ensure shelves are fully stocked and presentable.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Support opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and equipment setup.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, or food service is an asset but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer and Point-of-Sale (POS) system knowledge.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads.
  • Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working in a café, coffee shop, or restaurant.
  • Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
