Sr Specialist IT Solution Architect

Posting End Date: September 04, 2026 Employee Type: Regular-Full time Union/Non: This is a non-union position Enbridge is seeking a Sr Specialist IT Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of modern SAP IS-U / S/4HANA Utilities solutions across the Customer Information Systems landscape. In this role, you will shape scalable, maintainable, and upgrade-compatible architecture that supports customer, digital, operational, and integration capabilities. You will partner with business and technology stakeholders, delivery teams, vendors, and system integrators to modernize service layers, guide solution decisions, and reduce technical debt across a complex SAP CIS environment. What You Will Do Lead end-to-end SAP IS-U / S/4HANA Utilities solution architecture across the Meter-to-Cash lifecycle, including Customer Service, Billing, FICA, Device Management, and related CIS capabilities. Design target architectures, integration patterns, APIs, OData services, and solution roadmaps that build on the existing SAP CIS platform. Provide architectural leadership across concurrent initiatives, ensuring solutions align with Clean Core principles, enterprise standards, and long-term modernization goals. Partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and system integrators through design, build, testing, deployment, and architecture governance activities. Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt, modernize legacy services, rationalize integrations, and improve the scalability and sustainability of the CIS ecosystem. Who You Are You bring 10+ years of SAP experience, with deep expertise in SAP IS-U / S/4HANA Utilities and hands-on experience as a Solution Architect on complex SAP programs. You have strong knowledge of IS-U modules such as Billing, FICA, Device Management, and Customer Service, along with experience supporting S/4HANA implementations or upgrades. You are experienced in integration architecture, including APIs, OData, IDoc, RFC, PI/PO, CPI, and integrations with contact center, CRM, or digital channel platforms. You communicate clearly, lead with influence, and can facilitate workshops, architecture reviews, and technical discussions with both business and technology audiences. You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, utilities industry experience, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a complex, multi-system environment. Salary Ranges from $130.000 to $149.000 CAD for Ontario locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity. In addition to salary, there are generous short and long term incentives, which contribute to the overall compensation.
