Social Media Manager (Reddit) - Remote

This role focuses on managing and moderating a dynamic Reddit community within the tech sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering positive engagement, ensuring community guidelines are upheld, and facilitating meaningful discussions. You will play a key part in shaping the community’s tone and growth, acting as the primary point of contact for members and ensuring a welcoming, informative environment.

This is a fully remote freelance opportunity, ideal for someone with a passion for online communities and a deep understanding of Reddit culture.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily moderation of the Reddit community, including reviewing posts and comments for adherence to guidelines
  • Initiate and participate in discussions to encourage member engagement
  • Respond to member inquiries and resolve conflicts in a timely, professional manner
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow and sustain community activity
  • Monitor trends and feedback to inform content and engagement strategies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align community initiatives with broader objectives
  • Prepare regular reports on community health and engagement metrics
