Senior Sales Manager, Building Management Systems

Job Description:

  • Design and execute high-impact channel sales strategies to accelerate revenue and expand Honeywell’s BMS footprint
  • Build trusted relationships with channel partners and provide tools, training, and support
  • Manage the sales pipeline in Salesforce.com, ensuring data accuracy, visibility, and process discipline
  • Produce accurate forecasts and drive accountability for business objectives
  • Identify and pursue new markets and applications with partners
  • Lead negotiations, manage sales cycles, and deliver win-win outcomes
  • Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to refine strategy
  • Coach and mentor a team of senior sales professionals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional sales leaders to deliver integrated solutions and maximize customer value
  • Report directly to the Building Automation Regional General Manager

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education preferably in electrical engineering, Building Automation Systems or another relevant field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in channel sales or account management within building automation or related technologies
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Building Management Systems, system integration, or automation technologies
  • Minimum 2 years in a leadership or managerial role
  • Valid Canadian driver's licence, depending on the province
  • Capacity to travel across Canada up to 50% of the time
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, business, or a related field is valued
  • Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
  • Experience with growth and partner-engagement strategies
  • P&L accountability experience
  • Experience building and scaling partner ecosystems
  • Knowledge of smart-building trends, including IoT, energy management, and digital transformation
  • Product marketing leadership experience, including pricing and portfolio analysis/management
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales analytics tools
  • Local engagement in industry-specific organizations such as ASHRAE
