About the Role
Our client requires a dedicated Senior Reservoir Engineer to join their core engineering team in Vaughan, Ontario . This role is essential for managing and optimizing the performance of oil and gas reservoirs. You will be responsible for developing detailed reservoir models, forecasting production, and implementing strategies to maximize hydrocarbon recovery. This is an on-site position where you will work closely with geoscientists, production engineers, and management. Your technical acumen will be vital in ensuring the economic viability and efficient extraction of resources within the Oil & Gas sector.
Key Responsibilities Perform detailed reservoir characterization using geological and engineering data. Develop and maintain dynamic reservoir simulation models to forecast production and evaluate development scenarios. Design and implement enhanced oil recovery (EOR) projects. Analyze well performance and production data to recommend optimization strategies. Prepare comprehensive reports on reserves, production forecasts, and economic evaluations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related field. At least 7 years of experience in reservoir engineering roles within the Oil & Gas industry. Proven expertise in reservoir simulation software (e.g., ECLIPSE, CMG) and analytical techniques. Solid understanding of petrophysics, fluid mechanics, and production operations.
