About the position

We are currently looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join the Foundever family! 80% virtual and 20% onsite (within reasonable driving distance from the Green Valley Datacenter). As a Senior Network Engineer you will be supporting enterprise technologies (VOIP, Security, Routing, Layer 3 switching, Proxy, wireless) in complex networking environments.

Responsibilities

  • Work on assigned tickets based on a ticket queue and priority
  • Work on large-scale IT projects in multi-language and multi-cultural environments across multiple time zones across the world
  • Submit change requests to complete project or ticket-related work after-hours
  • Provide network design solutions for new deployments together with documentation according to organizational standards
  • Provide detailed documentation for client and facilities in the form of Wiki articles and MS Visio diagrams in order to facilitate the support of our clients
  • Remediate security vulnerabilities on firewalls, switches and routers
  • Implement and optimize firewall rules based on organizational standards
  • Assist with creation of yearly budget for equipment refresh
  • Deploy new equipment at call center facilities and data centers
  • Analyze and provide solutions for client connectivity according to organizational standards
  • Troubleshoot client-impacting incidents and find resolution to complex network-related issues while complying with security standards and Minimum Time To Resolve metrics
  • Continuous training and development is encouraged in the form of online training and certifications
  • Mentor engineers in technology and processes.
  • Able to attend meetings with management and clients and contribute suggestions, develop enterprise infrastructure designs, and answers in a professional manner.
  • Ability to drive and work as part of a team on larger projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
  • Ability to work large or medium size projects, develop documentation, and testing processes, a must.
  • Ability to understand and support security (Firewall, VPN, IPS, Proxy) application in a networking environment.
  • Level 3 support for complex enterprise break/fix.
  • Ability to install, administer and troubleshoot layer 2 and 3 switching (Cisco Catalyst, Nexus) and Routing MPLS wide area technologies.
  • Understanding and troubleshooting VPNs, Firewalls (Cisco ASA/Firepower, Checkpoint).
  • Practical experience with intelligent routing protocols BGP, IGP, OSPF
  • Practical understanding of VOIP/SIP.
  • Exceppent communication skills.
  • Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CCNP with equivalent experience, with proven specialization in either voice or security or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with FTD and FMC is a plus.
  • Experience with corporate Meraki Wireless networks a plus.
  • CCDA or CCDP
