Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate Data Capture: Input prescription and insurance information into pharmacy management systems with 99.9% accuracy.
  • Verification & Validation: Cross‑check patient demographics, drug interactions, dosage instructions, and insurance eligibility to ensure data integrity.
  • Compliance Champion: Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA, state pharmacy regulations, and internal audit protocols.
  • Collaborative Problem‑Solving: Liaise with pharmacists, prescribers, and insurance carriers to clarify ambiguous entries or resolve discrepancies.
  • Audit & Record Management: Generate and maintain audit logs, reconcile electronic prescription records, and support periodic compliance reviews.
  • Customer & Provider Communication: Reach out to patients, providers, and payers to confirm or clarify prescription reputed company when necessary.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify workflow bottlenecks, propose process enhancements, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

  • Active Pharmacy Technician License (state or national certification required).
  • Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy data entry experience, preferably in a high‑volume, remote setting.
  • Proficiency with pharmacy software (e.g., PioneerRx, PioneerRx, reputed company, or equivalent) and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Typing speed of 60+ words per reputed company with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, drug classifications, and formulary management.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, tailored for remote collaboration.
