If you enjoy solving complex data challenges and working closely with both technical and business teams, this role offers the chance to make a measurable impact from day one.<br><br><strong>What's in It for You?<br><br></strong><ul><li> Design enterprise-scale data models that support critical lending, risk, and financial decision-making </li><li> Work alongside data engineers, architects, business SMEs, and analytics leaders across a highly collaborative environment </li><li> Contribute to a modern cloud data ecosystem leveraging Snowflake and medallion architecture principles </li><li> Help build data assets that support regulatory reporting, analytics, forecasting, and business intelligence </li><li> Influence enterprise data standards, governance practices, and modeling methodologies </li><li> Gain exposure to large-scale lending portfolios, credit products, and strategic transformation initiatives </li><li> Enjoy the flexibility of a fully remote work environment while working on high-impact projects <br><br></li></ul><strong>Your Role & Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li> Design, develop, and maintain logical and physical data models supporting credit and lending domains including customers, accounts, loans, balances, collateral, and payment structures </li><li> Translate business requirements into scalable data architectures using dimensional modeling, normalized models, data vault methodologies, and domain-driven design principles </li><li> Partner with data engineers, analysts, business stakeholders, and SMEs to ensure consistency of business definitions and governance standards </li><li> Develop and maintain data dictionaries, mapping documents, lineage artifacts, and metadata documentation </li><li> Optimize data models to support analytics, reporting, regulatory requirements, dashboards, and downstream applications </li><li> Support the onboarding and integration of new lending products including mortgages, credit cards, secured lending, and revolving credit products </li><li> Validate model scalability, usability, and performance within Snowflake environments </li><li> Contribute to bronze, silver, and gold medallion architecture layers to ensure full traceability from source systems to curated business-ready datasets </li><li> Assist with data quality initiatives, business rule validation, and cross-system reconciliation activities <br><br></li></ul><strong>Skills & Experience You Should Possess<br><br></strong><ul><li> 8+ years of experience in data analysis, data modeling, data architecture, or related disciplines </li><li> Strong enterprise data modeling experience within financial services, banking, lending, or other regulated industries </li><li> Deep understanding of credit and lending concepts including loan lifecycle management, balances, payment structures, interest calculations, and customer-account relationships </li><li> Expertise in dimensional modeling, third normal form (3NF), and/or Data Vault methodologies </li><li> Strong experience translating business requirements into scalable, governed data structures </li><li> Experience working within enterprise data governance frameworks and metadata management practices </li><li> Hands-on experience with Snowflake, AWS, or other cloud-based data platforms </li><li> Ability to interpret, reconcile, and standardize complex financial data definitions across multiple source systems </li><li> Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills </li><li> Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities <br><br></li></ul><strong>Bonus Points If You Have<br><br></strong><ul><li> Hands-on experience with ERwin Data Modeler </li><li> Advanced ERwin data modeling expertise </li><li> Experience working within lakehouse or medallion architecture environments </li><li> Exposure to data governance and metadata platforms such as Collibra </li><li> Experience supporting highly regulated financial institutions </li><li> Knowledge of broader financial products and financial services ecosystems </li><li> Experience supporting regulatory reporting and compliance data initiatives </li><li> Ability to translate complex business rules into governed, reusable enterprise data assets <br><br></li></ul><strong>Education & Certifications You Need<br><br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline </li><li> Certifications in Data Architecture, Data Governance, Data Modeling, Snowflake, AWS, Analytics, or related disciplines are considered an asset <br><br></li></ul><strong>What We Offer<br><br></strong>At Trissential, we connect exceptional talent with meaningful opportunities that make a real business impact.
