Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and protocols to protect American Express and its customers from cyber threats. Monitor and analyze the company's systems and networks for potential vulnerabilities and risks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure systems and processes. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address any potential weaknesses or gaps in the company's cybersecurity. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve the company's security posture. Lead the development and maintenance of security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Respond to and investigate security incidents and provide timely and effective resolution. Train and educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and procedures to promote a security-conscious culture within the company. Work closely with third-party vendors and contractors to ensure their compliance with cybersecurity requirements. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and industry experts to stay informed and share knowledge on emerging cybersecurity trends and threats. Collaborate with management to develop and maintain a budget for cybersecurity initiatives. Provide regular reports and updates to management on the status of cybersecurity measures and any potential risks or breaches. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to junior team members.
