Senior Computer Vision Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Senior Computer Vision Engineer to join their innovative product development team in Vaughan . This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying advanced computer vision algorithms and systems that power intelligent visual analysis and interaction. You will be instrumental in pushing the capabilities of our client's offerings within the AI & Emerging Technologies space, working on challenging problems that require deep technical expertise. Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms for tasks such as object detection, image segmentation, tracking, and recognition. Implement and train deep learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch for visual tasks. Work with large image and video datasets, including data annotation, augmentation, and preprocessing. Collaborate with software engineers to integrate CV models into real-time applications and systems. Conduct experiments, evaluate model performance, and iterate on solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency. Stay current with the latest research and advancements in computer vision and machine learning. Requirements Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a specialization in Computer Vision. 5+ years of professional experience in developing and deploying computer vision systems. Strong proficiency in C++ and Python, along with experience using CV libraries (OpenCV) and ML frameworks. Hands-on experience with deep learning techniques for computer vision tasks. Familiarity with image/video processing techniques and camera calibration. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
