Senior Application Integration Steward

## Position Description: CGI is seeking an experienced Senior Application Integration Consultant to join our team and provide technical support, maintenance, and continuous improvement for enterprise application integrations. In this role, you will support critical business integrations by troubleshooting issues, implementing approved enhancements, improving monitoring and operational processes, and ensuring the reliability of integration services across multiple enterprise applications. Working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors, you will investigate integration issues, implement technical solutions, support production environments, and contribute to ongoing modernization and operational excellence initiatives. This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in one of CGI's Atlantic Canada offices, including Halifax, NS; Moncton or Fredericton, NB; St. John's, NL; or Stratford, PEI. Candidates must be currently located in Atlantic Canada or willing to relocate. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring three days per week onsite. ## Your future duties and responsibilities: * Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve enterprise application integration issues while performing root cause analysis. * Support incident resolution and implement approved integration enhancements and configuration changes. * Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using Python, REST APIs, and AWS technologies. * Support testing, validation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise integrations. * Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support documentation. * Review monitoring and alerting processes and recommend improvements that enhance reliability, visibility, and operational effectiveness. * Provide technical guidance on integration architecture, operational support, and best practices. * Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors to deliver integration solutions. * Support knowledge transfer and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the integration environment. * Participate in operational support activities, production issue resolution, and system enhancements. ## Required qualifications to be successful in this role: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * 5–8 years of experience supporting enterprise application integrations or enterprise application development. * Strong hands-on experience developing solutions using Python. * Hands-on experience with AWS technologies and cloud-based application environments. * Strong experience designing, developing, and supporting REST API integrations. * Experience designing, implementing, and supporting integrations across multiple enterprise business systems. * Experience supporting integrations involving financial, HR, and/or operational business applications. * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills. * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business, technical, and vendor teams. **Assets** The following qualifications would be considered assets: * Experience supporting enterprise integration platforms. * Experience with monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions. * Experience supporting production environments and incident management. * Experience with enterprise application modernization initiatives. * Experience working within municipal government, public sector, or other highly regulated environments. * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, or cloud automation tools. CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75,000–$125,000 CAD.
