Seasonal Team-Lead

You’ll love it here! We are hiring immediately for a Seasonal Warehouse Team Lead. As a Warehouse Team Lead, you’ll be part of a collaborative leadership team that plays a critical role in driving operations within the Distribution Centre. You’ll lead and support associates across multiple functions—helping ensure products move efficiently through Receiving, Stocking, Shipping, Order Processing, and Replenishment to deliver an outstanding customer experience. General Eligibility Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months in your current role
  • Most recent performance review rated “on target” or better
  • Openness to change with flexible availability
  • Must meet the experience requirements outlined below

What You’ll Do as a Warehouse Team Lead

  • Lead Daily Operations: Direct associates (through supervisors) to ensure productivity, efficiency, and clear communication
  • Coach & Develop: Support, mentor, and motivate team members to meet and exceed performance targets
  • Drive Performance: Monitor metrics, address issues, and escalate concerns as needed
  • Coordinate Workflows: Plan and organize daily tasks to ensure operational goals are achieved
  • Support Training: Ensure associates are properly trained and set up for success
  • Champion Continuous Improvement: Identify and support process improvements and new initiatives
  • Ensure Accuracy: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to reduce errors and rework
  • Troubleshoot Issues: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges
  • Complete Documentation: Ensure all reporting and paperwork are completed accurately and on time
  • Maintain Compliance: Reinforce company policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Promote Safety: Foster a clean, organized, and safe working environment
  • Mitigate Risks: Identify and address safety and security concerns proactively
  • Analyze & Report: Collect data and generate reports to support decision-making

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced Distribution Centre
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and internal processes
  • Familiarity with 5S or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and warehouse systems (WMS, TMS, Power BI is an asset)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Proven ability to foster a supportive, team-focused work environment
  • Flexibility to support changing shifts and business needs
  • Willingness to cross-train and support multiple functions
