About the Role

Our client, a dynamic Retail organization headquartered in Toronto, Ontario , is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Remote Retail Operations Manager . This critical role will oversee the operational efficiency and effectiveness of retail stores across various regions, ensuring a consistent and exceptional customer experience. You will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies, driving performance improvements, and managing budgets to achieve business objectives. This fully remote position requires a leader who can effectively manage distributed teams, analyze operational data, and implement best practices to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic operational plans to optimize store performance and profitability. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, customer satisfaction, inventory turnover, and operational costs. Oversee the implementation of new retail technologies, systems, and processes across all locations. Provide leadership and guidance to district and store managers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Manage operational budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Conduct regular store visits (virtual or in-person as needed) to assess operational standards and identify areas for development. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail operations management, with a proven track record of success. Experience managing multiple retail locations and remote teams. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in retail management software and ERP systems. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
