Remote Hospitality Trainer - Online Hotel Staff Coaching

Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a passionate and experienced Remote Hospitality Trainer to deliver engaging, practical, and high-impact online training to hotel staff and hospitality professionals across various departments including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest relations. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in hotel management or operations who thrive in an educational setting and are excited about leveraging digital tools to enhance staff performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver structured online training sessions to hotel staff on hospitality standards, customer service, hygiene protocols, communication, and soft skills.

  • Develop customized training modules and e-learning content aligned with hospitality industry standards and client requirements.

  • Conduct virtual workshops, webinars, and one-on-one coaching sessions.

  • Assess training needs through online assessments, performance reviews, and feedback surveys.

  • Provide constructive feedback and continuous improvement suggestions to learners.

  • Stay updated with hospitality trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.

  • Collaborate with hotel HR and management teams to ensure training alignment with organizational goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or related field.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong understanding of hotel operations and service excellence.

  • Proficiency in using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, or other virtual training platforms.

  • Ability to create visually engaging and interactive training materials.

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel management or hospitality training.

  • Prior experience in conducting virtual or in-person training/coaching preferred.

  • Experience working in or with 3-star to 5-star hotel environments is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Flexible schedule based on project and training needs.

  • Availability for sessions in different time zones may be required.

  • Weekly commitment: 15 to 40 hours depending on workload and engagement.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • In-depth knowledge of front office operations, housekeeping procedures, food & beverage service, and guest engagement.

  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for varied learning levels.

  • Empathy and patience to support learners at different stages of development.

  • Tech-savvy with the ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues during virtual sessions.

  • Fluent in English; additional language skills (e.g., Spanish, French, Arabic) are an advantage.
