Remote Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
<p>An innovative virtual care organization is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a remote role supporting patients across the U.S. This position delivers evidence-based primary care through a high-volume telehealth platform using asynchronous messaging, scheduled video visits, and on-demand consultations.</p><p><strong>About the Opportunity:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Shift:</strong> Day shift</li><li><strong>Schedule:</strong> Flexible; weekdays and weekends</li><li><strong>Hours:</strong> Minimum 30 hours per month</li><li><strong>Setting:</strong> Remote</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide virtual primary care for pediatric and adult patients across the lifespan.</li><li>Conduct scheduled and on-demand video visits and complete asynchronous patient consultations.</li><li>Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and follow up on acute and chronic conditions.</li><li>Prescribe medications, order appropriate labs and diagnostics, and provide patient education and preventive care guidance.</li><li>Document care accurately in the electronic medical record and collaborate with the virtual care team to meet quality and productivity expectations.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.</li><li>National Family Nurse Practitioner certification or board certification.</li><li>Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.</li><li>One core state license in California, New York, or Washington DC, plus two additional state licenses.</li><li>At least 2 years of clinical practice within the last 5 years in outpatient primary care, urgent care, or emergency medicine treating patients of all ages.</li><li>Strong telemedicine skills.</li><li>Excellent clinical judgment.</li><li>Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>High comfort level using technology and electronic medical records.</li><li>Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a virtual care team.</li><li>National Provider Identifier (NPI).</li><li>At least one active prescribing credential.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Previous telemedicine experience.</li><li>Experience in high-volume virtual care settings.</li><li>Experience caring for patients across the lifespan.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.</li><li>Additional active U.S. state licenses beyond the required core license.<br></li></ul>
