[Remote] Complex Director Leisure Sales

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Hilton is a global hospitality company. The Complex Director of Leisure Sales will support Hilton Los Cabos and Conrad Punta de Mita by managing new and existing customer relationships, developing leisure sales accounts, leading sales teams, and driving revenue through strategic planning, marketing initiatives, negotiations, and industry travel.


Responsibilities

  • Mentor and drive sales managers to achieve sales goals and budget and ensure proper deployment, and management of sales travel, trade show schedule, and sales expenditures
  • Represent both resorts in interactions dealing with customers relative to sales and operational questions and challenges
  • Conduct verbal sales presentations to prospective clients. Meet with and entertain clients, some of which will require travel
  • Coordinate and attend scheduled Sales Department and related meetings
  • Travel to each hotel to meet with potential customers
  • Travel to industry-related trade shows in multiple destinations around the world
  • Experience working directly with ownership and asset management
  • Strategic Planning of the leisure team to include deployment, travel, and trade show management, and sales expenditures
  • Develop marketing plans and initiatives for main accounts
  • Solicit and develop new accounts to generate business opportunities for the Hilton Los Cabos and the Conrad Punta de Mita resorts

Skills

  • Seven (7) years of hotel sales experience
  • Three (3) years of luxury hotel sales experience
  • Proven experience leading and developing sales teams
  • Recent work experience with the wholesale, FIT, and luxury consortia market segments
  • Up to 30% international travel required
  • Experience delivering sales presentations, both in-person and virtual
  • Proficiency in communicating with prospects in English, both verbally and in writing, including responding to emails, phone calls, and demo requests
