  • 4th & 5th Year Electrical Apprentices and Licensed 309A Journeymen - Work would be in a commercial environment – Must have a G driver's licence and reliable vehicle. Hiring immediately.
Please reply to this ad with a resume for consideration. This position requires skilled electricians and apprentices to install, maintain, and repair various electrical systems. Our projects are located throughout the GTA. The ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and a minimum of four years' experience in the field. Journeyperson Electricians are capable of working independently or with a team. Successful candidates will also have advanced problem-solving skills, the ability to take initiative and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Install or remove electrical components or equipment.
  • Perform electrical work in commercial or retail settings.
  • Conduct inspections of electrical equipment to identify and resolve issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Disconnect and reconnect electrical circuits.
  • Splice, join, and connect wires.
  • Repair or replace wiring, circuit breakers, fuses, and switches.
  • Install lighting fixtures and other electrical components in commercial, industrial, or residential buildings.
  • Bending conduit.
Requirements:
  • Ability to take direction and communicate with other team members.
  • Read and interpret drawings and schematics.
  • Always follow safety procedures.
  • Use all tools safety and effectively.
  • Be familiar with local electrical code rules.
  • Communicate with upper management and/or supervisor on job status or any issues.
  • Demonstrate good coordination and physical strength.
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be punctual and have a good attendance record.
  • Be able to work a variety of shifts.
Job Overview Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
