Accountabilities: The Registered Dietitian will provide virtual nutrition care and support to members while delivering personalized, culturally responsive, and evidence-based guidance. This role requires strong clinical expertise, empathy, and the ability to provide high-quality care through digital healthcare tools. Provide virtual consultations and asynchronous support to adult members through video appointments and secure messaging. Deliver nutrition counseling and education related to weight management, prenatal and postpartum nutrition, fertility, gestational diabetes, and general wellness. Support members with specialized nutrition needs, including PCOS, eating concerns, appetite challenges, and other diet-related conditions. Document patient interactions, care plans, and clinical summaries accurately within healthcare management systems. Collaborate with care teams to ensure members receive appropriate recommendations, referrals, and follow-up support. Build trusting relationships with members by providing compassionate, inclusive, and culturally sensitive care. Act as a healthcare ambassador by promoting accessible, high-quality virtual care experiences. Participate in provider network initiatives, educational opportunities, and community-focused activities when available. Requirements: The ideal candidate is a licensed and experienced Registered Dietitian who is passionate about improving health outcomes through accessible virtual care. You should have strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide independent care in a digital environment. Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) licensed to practice in Canada. Must currently reside in Canada. 3+ years of professional experience practicing as a dietitian or nutrition professional in Canada. 2+ years of experience providing care through telehealth or digital healthcare platforms. Ability to provide direct member care for approximately 5 hours per week as an independent contractor. Strong knowledge of nutrition counseling, evidence-based practices, and patient-centered care approaches. Experience supporting women’s health, family health, prenatal, postpartum, or fertility-related nutrition needs preferred. Excellent communication skills in English; French language skills are considered an asset. Comfortable using digital healthcare tools and adapting care delivery to virtual settings.
