Regional Business Manager – Specialty Care, Internal Medicine
Job Description:
- Lead deployment of people, resources, and investments across Ontario Central/East to maximize patient impact, revenue, and profitability for Pfizer SCIM
- Provide commercial leadership as a member of the SCIM Sales Leadership Team
- Coach and develop a high-performing team
- Deliver sales results and maximize regional revenue and profitability
- Implement commercial strategies and execute local business plans with short- and long-term sales objectives
- Drive adoption of IDM core standards across customer-engagement stages
- Conduct regular face-to-face and virtual coaching
- Oversee colleagues’ work and drive meaningful business outcomes
- Lead cross-functional and omnichannel execution across the geography
- Collaborate with Marketing and Head Office on brand strategies and initiatives
- Generate local insights and provide input to cross-functional partners
- Lead customer-facing activities and integrated customer planning for strategic customers
- Build and maintain relationships with influential local stakeholders
- Ensure engagement and development of direct reports
- Facilitate Pfizer culture and manage change and ambiguity
- Maintain full compliance across commercial activities
- Identify and report adverse events and product complaints according to corporate procedures
- Travel up to 60% in the territory for field visits and coaching
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of strong experience in sales and/or key account management
- Commercial leadership track record, ideally in specialty care and/or internal medicine
- Ability to develop and execute regional business plans in complex environments
- Strong people and cross-functional leadership with effective coaching and change management
- Deep customer and healthcare ecosystem understanding
- Established relationships with key stakeholders and insight into local healthcare dynamics
- Patient-centric mindset
- Advanced English proficiency, spoken and written, required
- Bilingual English and French communication ability
- Relevant university degree in business, science, or a related field
- Ability to travel up to 60% in the territory
