<p><strong>Technical Project management; vendor management; communications</strong></p><p><strong>Remote= NY/MA or states close by as usual, I'd say hybrid but reality is they won't come to the office on a regular basis</strong></p><p><strong>Working with our strong cross-functional program team, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing technical projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. This work includes planning and designating project resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed the entire way.</strong></p><p><strong>Key Accountabilities:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects, ensuring alignment to business objectives, scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and governance requirements.</strong></li><li>Develop and maintain project plans, delivery roadmaps, resource plans, budgets, financial forecasts, and project controls to support successful execution.</li><li><strong>Assemble, lead, and coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver project milestones and outcomes.</strong></li><li>Partner with technical teams, architects, and business stakeholders to develop project scope, evaluate delivery approaches, and ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose, efficient, and aligned with business needs.</li><li><strong>Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, decisions, and change requests, driving timely resolution and escalation as needed.</strong></li><li>Establish and maintain project governance, ensuring compliance with Client delivery standards, policies, regulatory requirements, and project management methodologies.</li><li><strong>Monitor project performance through defined metrics and KPIs, providing accurate and timely reporting on progress, financial performance, risks, and overall project health.</strong></li><li>Lead project financial management activities, including forecasting, sanction processes, budget tracking, variance analysis, and financial reporting.</li><li>Oversee project testing, operational readiness, deployment, and transition to support to ensure successful implementation and adoption.</li><li>Promote delivery excellence and continuous improvement through the application of project management best practices, lessons learned, and process optimization.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Must haves - technical Project management; vendor management; communications</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Required experience:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>10-12 years of proven Technical Project Management experience is required; Including scheduling, forecasting, milestone management, resourcing & risk management, reporting in Waterfall and Agile environments.</strong></li><li><strong>Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications including MS project</strong></li><li><strong>Leads cross-functional, hybrid teams operating in agile frameworks, balancing iterative delivery with governance under a fixed scope, timeline, and budget; proficient in stakeholder management and risk mitigation within a hybrid delivery model.</strong></li><li>Demonstrate a high level of personal initiative, integrity, and ability to interact with company personnel, contractors, and regulatory representatives in a positive collaborative manner.</li><li><strong>Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects under budget and time constraints. Bottom-line oriented, budget conscious, metric/measurement driven.</strong></li><li>Ability to create a high-energy team climate whereby team members can discuss relevant issues freely and where there is a strong emphasis on continuous improvement.</li><li>Highly skilled in stakeholder engagement, presentation, interpersonal, oral & written communication, critical analysis and capable of leading and influencing teams, and gaining support and commitment from a wider operational group.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred experience:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>PMP certified</strong></li><li><strong>Experience in utilities</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Appreciated experience:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Utility industry</strong></li><li><strong>Product engineering</strong></li></ul><p><br></p>
