Production Worker - Mississauga

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to contribute to the production of high-quality automotive parts. As a Production Worker, you will be an integral part of a collaborative manufacturing team, ensuring that products are made efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. The role involves various tasks within the production process, including operating machinery, inspecting parts, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Position: Production Worker / Operator

Location: Mississauga, ON

Shifts Available:
Continental Nights, 7PM to 7AM
Continental Days, 7AM to 7PM
Straight Afternoons 3pm - 11pm
Straight Nights 11pm - 7am

Pay: $19/hr

Responsibilities
These tasks might not all be performed in one day. You will be stationed at one spot to be trained 100% before learning all tasks.
- Machine Operating: Maintain continuous operation of the machines to produce quality parts. Operate machine, turn on/off, adjust if required, validate process gauges as required,
- Load and unload parts into and out of machine/furnace ensuring proper orientation and location
- Monitor machine operation to detect issues to notify their supervisors in the event of a machine error or malfunction
- Inspect parts. Visually examine parts to assess the quality of parts produced
- Complete all necessary paperwork
- Push and pull carts (physical labour)
- Keep work area clean and organized, maintain 5S standards
- Taking finished products from the machine and packaging into boxes
- Performing various functions and assisting in other areas as required
- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications
This position requires a team player with the ability to work with others in a team-based environment and be involved in a participatory process and make decisions within the team.
- Steel Toed Shoes are mandatory
- Safety glasses, hearing protection, and company polo will be provided
- Able to lift 30-50lbs at times but you can share the lift. Majority of items are 2-10lbs
- Able to work in a hot environment
