About the Role

The Production Data Analyst for Feature Animation works directly with producers and production managers across the feature animation portfolio, supporting both internal tracking and client-facing deliverables. The role is hybrid, with two to three days onsite at the Vancouver studio.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain master sequence schedules, quota trackers, and scenario planners in close coordination with producers and production staff.
• Prepare and deliver standardized weekly and monthly reports for internal teams, as well as formatted reports aligned to client templates.
• Review weekly detail reports for accuracy, flagging discrepancies and making reclassifications where the data does not reflect actual production output.
• Monitor daily inventory levels across departments to ensure shots are flowing through the animation pipeline and output forecasts stay current.
• Identify gaps or inefficiencies in scheduling, milestone tracking, or information flow, and bring specific recommendations to producers.
• Mentor junior production staff on reading bids, analyzing schedules, and generating reports that hold up under producer scrutiny.

What You Bring

• Three to four years of production experience, with at least two years working specifically in feature animation production.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including managing and analyzing large datasets across multiple active shows.
• Demonstrated ability to work across departments and manage competing priorities without losing accuracy on reporting deadlines.
• Experience supporting producers on scheduling and forecasting within a VFX pipeline or animation studio environment.
• Strong communication skills and the judgment to know when an issue needs to be escalated versus resolved at the coordinator level.
