Plastic Surgery Specialist – 12 Months Contract

Job Description:

  • Promote and sell the Allergan NATRELLE® and LifeCell™ portfolio, including Breast Implants, AlloDerm (Acellular Dermal Matrix), and Fat Grafting, to plastic surgeons in and around Montreal
  • Promote products at private clinics and hospitals
  • Manage regional sales efforts focused on the Plastic Surgeon community
  • Increase productivity of existing customers and expand the number of surgeons using Allergan Medical Aesthetic products
  • Follow the selling and marketing strategy designed to optimize selling efforts in the territory
  • Maximize Allergan Aesthetics’ market opportunity and share while minimizing competitive intrusion
  • Present in surgical and clinical settings to assist in the optimal use of Allergan products
  • Report to the National Sales Manager-PSRM
  • Travel outside of Quebec City as required

Requirements:

  • University degree or MBA
  • 5 years and more of sales experience in the hospital and surgical setting
  • Demonstrated success in a technical and scientific selling environment
  • Thorough knowledge of practices in the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry
  • Understanding of external market forces and social media’s impact on business
  • Operating room experience strongly recommended
  • Prior experience with Plastic Surgeons is an asset
  • Solid business acumen
  • Computer savvy
  • Self-starter
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Enterprise mindset and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to translate complex scientific information into digestible discussion points with plastic surgeons
  • Ability to develop a strategic outlook for the territory based on business analytics
  • Willingness to travel outside of Quebec City
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Advanced knowledge of English / fluency in English is essential
